PLEASE NOTE |
|
Regretfully,
Old Father Time is fast catching up with some of us. As a result, no further sequence dance CDs
will be reviewed on this website.
However, the website will continue for some time as a source of
information on previously reviewed CDs.
We have enjoyed operating the website and have much appreciated the
kind comments made over the last nine years by sequence dancers and recording
artists alike. The
sequence dance scene is rapidly changing as sequence dancers themselves age,
move on and are sparingly replaced.
The sequence dance CD recording/marketing scene is also changing with
most CDs now being marketed with downloadable extracts of each track. However, while this is a guide to
potential purchasers, extracts are not always representative of the track as
a whole. A further development is
that individual tracks of new releases may often now be purchased. Potential buyers can therefore now make
their own choice on which tracks they value and wish to purchase. It may be that eventually only
downloadable tracks, rather than complete CDs, will be available
commercially. If
there is someone out there in the sequence dancing scene who wishes to
continue updating this website, I would be happy to hear from them so that a
changeover can be arranged. Sincerely
Colin |

omission of any particular sequence dance CD from this site does not by itself
imply that the CD is unsatisfactory: it may simply be that it has not yet been
assessed.
